Fear is allowed to speak, but it does not get to be the only voice in the room.

Today I feel tired and scared.

Not sharp-scared. Body-scared. Background-scared. The kind of fear that makes everything feel a little too close even when the room is technically behaving itself.

I made a “shit needs to stop happening” jar, because, academically and spiritually speaking, shit needs to stop happening.

I want the pressure to break. I want the harassment, fear, noise, and emotional static to stop taking up half the house. I want home to feel like ours. I want peace to be something we live inside, not something I keep begging the ceiling for.

Since the ritual, I keep seeing shadowy figures of Hekate and Whisp at the edge of my vision. Not fully. Not something I can pin down and label. More like movement where I was not expecting movement. Presence in the corner. Gone when I look.

Part of me is comforted.

Part of me is nervous.

I have been having ups and downs, and the psych appointment is coming. I am nervous about being honest. Nervous about being misunderstood. Nervous about saying too much, not enough, or sounding like I am falling apart when really I am trying very hard to hold the basket together with both hands and one knee.

King of Wands reversed feels like power with nowhere clean to go. Fire turned inward. The part of me that wants to be decisive but feels blocked, irritable, small, and scared.

Eight of Swords is the fear-room.

The room made of what-ifs. The room where every exit looks fake. The room I keep standing in because choosing wrong feels worse than staying trapped.

Eight of Cups does not argue with the room.

It leaves.

Quietly. Without a speech. Without proving itself right.

Maybe I do not have to fight my way out of every emotional room. Maybe I can take one step away before my mind agrees it is allowed.

Today that might mean telling the truth at my appointment without making it prettier. It might mean eating something real. Touching the doorframe and remembering the house is protected. Not staring too hard at every shadow, even if I notice it.

I can be scared and still careful.

Fear is allowed to speak, but it is not allowed to be the only voice in the room.

Question: What do I need to know for today?

Tarot: King of Wands reversed, Eight of Swords, Eight of Cups

First impression: My power may feel blocked or distorted today, and my mind may insist I am cornered, but the real movement is emotional withdrawal from something that has stopped nourishing me. I do not have to fight my way out. I may need to quietly leave the room inside myself.

Later reflection: Return later and write what actually happened.

One Small Step Away

From fear: name what is happening without turning it into a prophecy.

From panic: do the Anchoring, drink water, and come back to the body.

From silence: be honest at the psych appointment, even if my voice shakes.

From the room: choose one ordinary action that proves I am not trapped.

From the shadows: notice what I notice, but do not chase every shape into meaning.

I can be scared and still careful. I can be tired and still honest. I can leave the room without burning it down.

For Today

I do not have to fight every fear
before I am allowed to move.

I can take one step away.
I can choose the door.
I can leave what no longer feeds me.

By key, by hound, by wing, by stone,
this threshold is kept,
and I am allowed to cross it.
