Spell / Working
Purpose: A small object anchor charged while present, then used later as a tactile reminder of embodiment.
“I am in my body. I return to now.”
Best for: dissociation, spacing out, panic, or needing to remember the body
Timing: make it while grounded; use it when you feel floaty or far away
Difficulty: easy
Mess level: low
Materials
- A smooth rock or small carryable object
- A bowl
- Black peppercorns or ground black pepper
- Lavender
- Rosemary
- Salt
- Optional: charged water for cleansing
This is a grounding aid, not a replacement for mental health care. Keep herbs and salt away from pets and children.
Method
- Cleanse the rock or object in your preferred safe way.
- When you are not dissociating, hold it and infuse it with your present, grounded energy.
- In a small bowl, combine black pepper, lavender, and rosemary.
- Place the rock in the bowl and cover it with salt.
- Let it sit undisturbed until it feels ready.
- Carry it with you. When dissociation starts, hold it, feel its texture, notice its color, and repeat: “I am in my body.”
