Spell / Working

Purpose: A reusable charm structure for giving an object a clear job without overcomplicating the working.

“I name the vessel. I name the work. I give the charge. I close the seal.”

Best for: keys, jewelry, stones, cards, thread, mirrors, charm bags, tools, or altar objects

Timing: anytime; especially before carrying, gifting, placing, or using the object

Materials

  • The object you want to enchant
  • Your hands
  • A clear intention written in one sentence
  • Optional: candle, sigil, breath, thread, or a small altar space
Do not enchant anything unsafe to wear, ingest, burn, or place near pets. If the object touches skin, food, water, or medicine, keep the enchantment symbolic and physically safe.

Method

  1. Clean or wipe the object if needed. This can be literal cleaning or simply holding it quietly for three breaths.
  2. Hold the object in both hands and name what it is.
  3. Name the work you want it to carry in one direct sentence.
  4. Breathe onto the object once, then touch it to your chest or the surface of your altar.
  5. Say the words. Imagine the intention settling into the object like a thread being tied.
  6. Close by tapping the object once and placing it where it will live.
