Materials

Method

  1. Prepare the space. This can be as simple as clearing a table and taking three slow breaths.
  2. Place the materials in front of you.
  3. Draw a crescent at the top of the paper and an eye or star beneath it.
  4. Write: “Protect me in the matter of ______.” Fill in the specific thing, such as sleep, travel, walking through the building, messages, dreams, or anxiety.
  5. Beneath it, write three names or qualities you trust. They can be divine names, ancestors, concepts, or your own created names.
  6. Fold toward yourself if drawing protection in; fold away if pushing something out.
  7. Close the working with "So mote it be." 3x
