Purpose: A knot working for quieting gossip, rumor, or someone’s ability to affect you with words.

Materials
- Black thread
- A private drawer, box, or pocket
- Optional: water if you do not want to use spit
Keep this symbolic and boundary-focused. Do not use it to threaten, stalk, harass, or escalate conflict. Use water instead of spit if that feels cleaner or safer.
Method
- Think of the person, rumor, or situation you need to stop feeding.
- Wet your palm lightly with water or spit as a personal marker.
- Tie one knot in the black thread while the thread is still damp.
- Place the knotted thread somewhere dark and enclosed: a drawer, box, or pocket.
- Leave it there until the situation quiets, then dispose of it respectfully or untie it if the working is complete.
