Purpose: To diminish what is gripping me

Materials
- Paper
- Writing implement
- Candle/source of flame
- Optional: related sigil
Safety note: do not burn anything unattended, do not ingest herbs unless you know they are safe for you, and keep smoke, oils, salt, string, and small objects away from pets.
Method
- Prepare the space. This can be as simple as clearing a table and taking three slow breaths.
- Place the materials in front of you.
- choose one word for what you want to diminish, like “panic,” “static,” “fear,” “shame,” or “urgency.”
- Write it fully on the first line. On each line beneath, remove the last letter until only one letter remains.
- Fold the paper away from you three times. Say: “Less by line, less by name. What held me loosens. What remains is mine.”
- Burn the paper.
- Close the working with "So mote it be" said 3x
